Naming your Escape
Been thinking of a few names for our soon to be born 17B. Most of them were kind of lame, or not fit for public use...lol.
I think we've come up with one that's fitting, and kind of describes where we are as well:
Past Tents

Hi: rbryan... This name gets my vote too!!! I never liked the smell of wet canvas, but a new Escape...now that's different. Alf

ETI added our name "Felicity" (without quotes but using italics font) to our build sheet at no charge.

How does one actually decide on a name? What factors do you consider/ weigh? I'm a big Jazz fan and will likely name ours after one of the masters. Either "Dexter" after Dexter Gordon, the greatest tenor sax player to ever lift the horn (IMHO) or perhaps "Mingus" after Charles Mingus another jazz legend. Any other Dexter's or Mingus' out there?

I think you'll be safely unique naming it after a jazz player. As for what factors to consider, Donna has some great advice -- to let your name be a reflection of you. It doesn't have to make sense to anyone but the person pulling it.

Hi: wayne_m... How about "Jazzman"? Leave the interpretation to the reader. Alf

It would be fun to see a list of all the names that have been chosen for Escapes.
Mine is "Suite Escape".
