It's called Warlock.
You'd think they would look up the definition.

"Warlock" is an old Dodge name, used for the 2WD counterpart to the Power Wagon of the 1970's. I doubt that potential buyers would have any issue with the meaning of the name (which despite the origin is probably for most people more strongly associated with a sorcerer than specifically a traitor), and it goes with the "Demon"... also an old Dodge name and currently used for a high-power version of the Challenger.

This time around, a Warlock can be 2WD or 4WD. The "Power Wagon" name would be more marketable, but I suspect that FCA is reserving that for a more deserving (extreme) 4WD.

Growing up in the mountains of Colorado back in the 1960's and 70's, an old Dodge Power Wagon with an A-frame snow plow mounted on the front was a welcome sight after a heavy snow. The County Road & Bridge crew would keep the main mail delivery routes and school bus routes open, then ranchers with Power Wagon snow plows would open up most of the other roads and driveways for the elderly. It was just the neighborly thing to do back then.

I'll go ahead and pick nits here, but there is no Dodge pickup. Ram was spun off as it's own brand in 2010 under Chrysler, now Fiat-Chrysler. So it's a new Fiat Chrysler pickup.

It's also only available as a trim level on the RAM Classic--hardly a new truck. I do recall reading that the Classic is really helping RAM flesh out their sales and dealerships are loving them...for now: https://www.autonews.com/classicram. Good on FCA for squeezing every last penny out of their existing infrastructure.

Sure... or a "new Ram pickup", because "Ram" is the brand, just as "Dodge" has been only a brand (not a manufacturer or company) for nine decades.

Sorry, FCA marketing people... I refuse to shout your brand name in all-caps.

With all due respect, GM styling (body by Fisher) went downhill after the '57 Chevy Nomad.

Oh I beg to differ! The apex of American automotive styling was GM in 1958. The 1958 Corvette, the 1958 Pontiac Bonneville convertible only surpassed by the 1958 Pontiac Parisienne. 1957 was a lot better than anything after say 1964 but nowhere close to 1958. Never has there been anywhere near the chrome as what beautified the 1958 GM cars. I mourn daily their passing.

And Jim wasn't 1958 the year that the four headlights were introduced? I remember thinking that was so cool. We had a 1963 Dodge sedan that had the quad lights but vertical where most were horizontal.

I passed up a 1924 Graham Brothers pickup one time I could have gotten pretty cheap. It was complete and very restorable. Saw a 1971 Roadrunner yesterday.
