new to E19. 2019: Furnace Operation

Just a quick question. Furnace has an on / off switch somewhere.

blower runs but turns off after a minute or so.

Must be a switch somewhere to turn on a pilot?

only switch I find is in the exterior door panel for the water heater.

Try to water heater to insure your propane is working, there is no pilot for the furnace, just spark ignition....

never used water heater. new to me but there is an on off in that exterior panel.
no water in the lines though. still ok to switch on and light pilot to check propane in line only?

You have the Suburban SW6DE if you have the “two way” water heater. Switch on exterior of water heater is for electric heating only. Interior switch is for gas which is direct spark ignition so there is no standing pilot. If the exterior switch is turned on without water in the tank the electric element will be toast immediately. Also many people don’t know this but both can be run together if needed for quicker heating.
