I'd do the same as in the front vent if you're happy with it. We have a smoke cover over it as that lets in more light. We have the Fantastic with thermostat that works very well.
Let’s say I’ve removed the AC and want a 14X14 non powered roof vent - which one do I choose? Any experience would be appreciated.
The stock non-powered vent is likely a Ventline. We have it and it can let rain in when open unlike the front MaxxFan. Hengs also makes what looks identical to the Ventline; both just under $70 U.S. On etrailer I see a non-powered vent that can be open in the rain. Wish I had it. I used one by Heng. It's the same design model ETI used for the rear roof vent but smoke color. Looking from inside out the color shade is not really smoke but more a grayish tint.
