North south bed

Hi everyone,
I’m new to this forum. My wife and I currently have a 2006 EggCamper. We don’t like having to crawl over during those night callings. In the 17’ to 19’ length, is there a north/south bed option? Or do we need to consider the 21’?

Hello Tom,
Welcome to the Escape side of life, from an ex-Eggcamper myself. We had "Nestegg" and while trying to add propane and dual windows found the Escape models in 2012. The rest is history, we are on our 4th. Only the E21 classic has north/south orientation with a full sized bed.

The 5.0 has a queen size, north/south bed.

Thanks for the info. I forgot the 5.0 was an option. I’m not sure I want to give up the bed space yet.

So last night I was out in the 5.0TA getting ready to pack her up. I crawled up in the bed and laid there for a while.

There is a very pleasant breeze that wafts over the bed if you have windows on both sides open. The height of the bed is about six feet off the driveway and when I am up there I mostly see trees. Lovely. I hear more birds up there too.

It is always a welcome surprise how nice the sleeping area is up there. Far better than I realized it would be. I like being a little higher off the ground and I love the breeze.
