The evening when we were in their trailer they ran that AC and I was astounded at how quiet it was and how much air it moved!!! it was almost silent with all the windows and doors closed; wow!! I wish I would have thought of this solution but unfortunately my inexperience failed me on this one

Here I thought we might have the only 19 with a mini-split in the world. Curious how the indoor unit was mounted if they had the condenser on the rear. Was the indoor unit mounted in or on the rear cabinet?

I fully agree with you Dave. Without wireless temperature gauges you have to open the refrigerator door(s) to know if it is staying cold, and that of course results in letting heat in/cold out. Especially important if you are a bit skeptical of the efficiency of absorption refrigerators

Soon after delivery, I changed the orientation of the slides to change it from side-to-side making it front-to-back. Side-to-side renders the rear bench on a wrap-around dinette unusable. I have a spring loaded plunger to prevent the table from sliding, but I do not lower the Springfield when traveling. I use black webbing straps and a plastic buckle, attached with foot loops on the dinette bench rails to strap over the table for stability when traveling. The straps conveniently tuck under the bench cushion when not in use.

Table was in down position at delivery. The base appears to be solid as I checked all the screws, and added the additional threaded knob in the rear as was suggested. ETI put one at the front of the table. Good suggestion on contacting Springfield, however for the price, ETI should have made sure it was solid before they shipped my trailer. As I mentioned, I'm happy I didn't get the foam because of the "quality issues" I found underneath the trailer. I'll be posting some pics later.

I was looking at the Springfield, what brand did you get, and are you happy with it?

See my two posts in this thread. No, I'm not happy.

Not familiar with mini split term. Is there a good web site to learn about this equipment?

You are on it. Use the search feature. Enter mini split in the bottom search box ( Google ).

Hello, basically they had somewhat extended and reinforced the rear bumper and the condenser was mounted there, cannot recall exactly how it was attached, the indoor unit was mounted in the central cabinet above the rear dinette, I can't remember if it took up the whole cabinet but it was a very neat installation, do not recall seeing any wiring or obvious tubing.

If it was over a rear dinette then it was likely a 21. Was it possible that you met Jake who I did the install for? I think he was down in that area in early 2020 on his way back from Quartzsite.

Thanks for the info. My wife has been complaining about the "wobbly table" and I suspected I could fix it that way but simply haven't done it yet.

Jim, I’m hoping all you residents of the True North strong and free are not so demanding. I used to respond to multiple quotes in red text, then Mr. Baglo complained he couldn’t see the red very well.
What’s a guy to do?
I shall paraphrase Abraham Lincoln with a little poetic license:
You can please some of the people all the time, and you can please all of the people some of the time, but you apparently cannot please all of the people all of the time.
What might you suggest? My background is white. If I used white I couldn’t read what I am writing.

I use reverse colours on my phone as it is way easier to see. When folks type black on white on their desktops, I see the reverse. When they use a colour, I see the colour.

I have the Springfield installed by Escape and I am very happy with it.
I have no regrets ordering it as an option.
I know I would hate dealing with the standard two poles.
