Ordered a 2016 21' Two Days Ago

Like Hillbilly we just ordered a new Escape. Ours will be a 21. We made the short trip (11 hours) to Chilliwack to take the plant tour and talk with Escape. They are quite busy there but spend all the time necessary to make customers feel at home. We got many questions answered and got a lot of good advice. This was our first viewing of an Escape trailer. They have display models in all sizes so you get a good idea which size is best for you.
I highly recommend a trip there for those that feel they need more information before purchase. We got there several hours before the noon tour and had plenty of time to view all the models at our leisure and ask questions. Customer service people were busy but made it a point to come back to answer questions yet they did not bug us. They had plenty of other work to do. We made the deposit and got all the initial paperwork done before noon. I can see why Escape customers are Escapes' best form of advertising. Everyone seems to like the products and the service.

We look forward to picking our camper up in October. Late Oct. 2016 that is.

blue_bullet -- Congratulations on pulling the trigger.

We pass by your corner of the world on our monthly pilgrimage to Costco in Kalispell...we live about 1.5 hours NW of you in Kimberley, BC. Looking forward to hauling our 17B up the gravel road to the campground at the foot of Lake Bowman in Glacier National Park etc. Where we live, you don't need to travel hours to find spectacular scenery and camping opportunities...they are all around us.

Have fun with your decision-making process. All the Escapes are great, whether they are bare-bones basic or "loaded" with options. It's the camping that counts.

Canadark,
If you don't need Costco you can take dirt/gravel roads over to Bowman via Grave Creek/Trail Creek or
via Red Meadow Lake (Mt Marston or road at Olney) then cross over at Polebridge. Keeps you from going all the way into the Flathead just to head north again. We're 6 mi west of Fortine in the other direction. You could also return home that way instead though I prefer the view into Glacier headed east. We hope our Escape gets to see lots of those kinds of roads.

Hi Rob and welcome to the forum. So many folks are ordering new Escapes these days that it is hard to keep up with and give everyone a proper welcome. Anyway, enjoy this bunch around here and there is a lot of good information to be gleaned from these posts. The build sheet would really be difficult without the guidance of the members here. Loren

Thanks for the welcome, Loren & Cathy,
We have already learned a great deal on this forum in addition to ETI's website and help when visiting Chilliwack. I hope in time we can give back as well.
