And yet they insisted I pick one. My brother too, but to be fair he phoned them right after I did. Could be just the one employee?

This company makes custom pontoon boats to hold RV’s. Pretty neat.

Fun Applications

The picture I posted was on another website a couple years ago. The guys who were involved were from as they described it Pennsyltuckey. I don’t know what that means but it’s apparently a hotbed of innovative design and engineering.

In the mid to late 80s I used to sail out of a marina in the Stockton delta called *Herman and Helen's. They rented out a pontoon boat called a "Camp A-float" which could hold a large RV down to a small trailer. The renter would drive on via a special ramp, and then park the RV and motor the pontoon boat like any houseboat around the delta. One weekend they had a small trailer and the tide was too low to take it off Sunday evening, so the folks got another weekend free.

*aside: the restrooms at the marina were labeled "Herman" and "Helen." Which was a little more straightforward than another local marina, labeled "Outboard" and "Inboard".

Nk'Mip cancelling reservations

About May 10th I received a phone call from Nk'Mip saying my reservation had been cancelled and they would refund my deposit. When I said I was going to the Escape Rally they said it was okay and my reservation was still good, and all the Escape people would be moved to higher sites.
