Outlets and other questions
How many 12V, 120V, and USB outlets are included in the 19' Escape. What are the "standard" locations for these items? Photos?
Where are the switch locations for the interior, exterior lights? Is 1 counter extension included in the 19' escape? Why is this an option? I don't know where another one would fit.
Will a flush - recessed cook top fit in the 19' trailer? I love the clean look and more counter space.
Why do folks reinforce the walls? Which ones and why in the 19' trailer.
Slowly getting it figured out.
Pray for a strong US dollar!

Escape can provide you with a diagram that shows where the outlets are. Get more than you think you'll need. I wish we had a few more, esp one for the USB.
The exterior light switch will be just inside the door as you come in. All interior lights are turned on with little switches on each individual light. However, you can order one that can be placed next to the door that will turn on one light. Some like that, while others don't. I like it so I can turn on an inside light right away (middle of the trailer light).
We got the reinforced walls as we figured we might want to put some screws in the walls to hang stuff. Which we've done. Some with screwed in stuff (like key holders) and others use Command hooks. We did them on all walls that have a wood backing to them. I don't believe the reinforcement goes all the way up to the ceiling, per posts from other members.
Have fun! Read lots of posts on here, including older ones. And ask ETI about anything you want added, as what you read in posts might not be available any longer.

Yep, the recessed fits in the 19. I know this because I was originally told it would fit in the 17, ordered one and had it delivered to ETI, then Reace called that it wouldn't fit in the small trailer due to the proximity to the trailer furnace. Had to go with the regular stove top with the raised cover.

Nice, huh?
Sure looks sweet! We had changed the counter tops to a dark slate color, ordered the black recessed stove top with the glass recessed cover. Would have been great, but Best Laid Plans...!

Here a picture from the standard location of the outlets. This is a picture from the classic Escape 19 though. Don't know if it has changed for the new ones.

The counter extension on the kitchen counter is standard. Located by the door.
Some people order extra for the dinette area and/or the bedroom.
Reinforced walls: we didn't do any. Just find studs to hang hooks. (We brought umbra hooks with us when picking up the trailer, and ETI installed those for us.)

Rbryan4 Is this stove an option ETI offers? Or did you have to send it yourself for them to install? If so, where did you get it from?
Thanks!

Escape offers the standard 2 burner or 3 burner Suburban cooktop, or the oven with a 3 burner cooktop. The 2 or 3 burner cooktops come in either black or stainless. It's all on the options sheet.
The cooktop I pictured is a Dickinson Marine 00-2BP, and Escape will install it, but you have to get it to them before the build starts. There are several sources, but I found Boat Owners World to be the lowest price by far - even much lower than directly from Dickinson Marine after negotiating.

Folks should note that Escape add an additional charge to install it too, as it breaks from their normal routine.
I paid less than that in Canadian pesos from Dickinson.

Yes, but you're clearly an insider Jim with a secret Canadian currency to boot! [emoji23]

I do have a bit of on inside track there, but the low exchange rate of our dollar is no secret.
