Paying sticker price??

Hello all. I hope you are staying safe. I have a question. I noticed that ETI has some "inventory" trailers on their lot and was wondering if anyone ever made an offer or are we pretty much stuck with the sticker price?

Thank-you!

I would "guess" sticker price, but sure would not hurt to ask them.

The only question unanswered is the one not asked........in the past there were $1000 off sales under T&R regime, particularly at model change.

With the number of inventory trailers they're showing, I'd make some aggressive offers.

Usually at this time of the year inventory would be snapped up very quickly so with that many trailers on hand I'd give it a go.

I called ETI sales to ask some general questions and got onto the topic of their inventory units. While most of my questions were about customization of these units, I asked if there was negotiating room on the price. Interestingly, the person I spoke with laughed and said that few people ask that question. She went on to say that there would be negotiating room on the 2019s, but not on the 2020s. This was several weeks ago and before the “stay home” policies had been implemented. Much like everyone else has suggested, I suspect that the longer the units are on the lot, the more power you’ll have with a serious offer.

In the last 10 years if an Escape came up for sale on the web site in April, cancelled order, demo, etc it would be snapped in in hours with multiple people wanting it ............... I think having over 20 in stock right now should tell you something. If this virus stretches into summer then who knows what they will go for. Right now around here you can't go camping anywhere at least until the beginning of June, after that it's any ones guess.

The polls online about whether you are considering buying a car with all the deals are running about 80% no. I would imagine boats, trailers, etc are in even much lower numbers than the cars. Looking like real estate is taking a big hit as well.

I was vaguely thinking about replacing the 2008 RAV4 with a new Highlander, but, I'm thinking I'd prefer to keep the money in my account for now.

Big difference between CDN and US price sheet

Suggest you compare the US and CDN price sheets. Exchange rates can make a huge difference. When I looked it was $1k plus $$ difference.

I think you are trying to say that the CAD price is less than the USD price, which has been discussed at length.
