I drilled one hole for all the way open and two others at 1/3 and 2/3 open. I use an underlayment nail as it is thin and has a sharp point which helps find the small hole. This should have no effect on the metal or the plastic as it is a small hole...maybe 3/32 in or less. Thanks Nathan, We were told the same thing at orientation, and have been using that method for over a year. We do get some slippage, though (not to be confused with shrinkage). I'm gonna do what my dentist says, and "drill, drill, drill"!

We live in Florida so the breeze is sorta humid and hot right now.
But when we were coming back from Chilliwack we did have a few days where it was nice and we enjoyed airing the trailer out. More air than you would think passes through with the windows open. And yes each window has one knob. The rear being a dual window has one for each side.

The MaxxFan moves some serious air on higher speeds. You would definitely want to have at least one window open. This will induce a nice airflow through the trailer from the side that is preferred. Works the same with the sliders but the awning style afford better rain protection.
