Portable Vise Recommendations

Hi there,
Does anyone have a recommendation for a portable vise? I was thinking of rigging up something like this:

10-Minute Tech: Portable Vise

or going with something like this:
Trail D-Vise is a useful tool for RV owners | RV Daily Report

Sometimes it's handy to have a third hand for projects or repairs when a pair of vise grips just doesn't cut it.

Thanks

Rick, if you wanted a vise along, I don't think you could find a more simpler, effective one.

What kinda situation do you foresee the need of one. In all my RVing, I can't think of a single time I wished I had one, though if I did..........

Just get an ordinary vise and clamp it to the picnic table using Vise-Grips.

I am more of a backcountry person so picnic tables aren't that common where I go. I'll be using it for minor projects like fixing my camp chair or getting a stuck nut off a bolt, etc. Nothing major.

I thought about buying a small vise, mounting it to small piece of 2x6 and then C-clamping it to the bumper of the Escape or to a setup on a hitch similar to the Trail D vise.
