Do fellow Escape trailer owners usually stay at the west site or get together on an adhoc basis?

My friend has been waiting for his new special ordered F150 since February. If you want one, call multiple dealers, tell them you want one. Don't be afraid to drive an hour to get one. Stock is really low right now. Don't wait. Don't be picky on the package. Here in Ontario the dealers have no idea what they are getting when the delivery comes in. I drove past our Chevy dealer and they only had 3 hatch backs on the whole lot.

There have been very few Escapes staying in the LTVAs throughout the winter, and those that do have not tended to stay at any one particular area. Actually, there are very few fiberglass trailers spending the winter, although I usually see a Casita & a Scamp or two that stay for a couple of weeks. Of course, the February gathering at Dome Rock is full of them!

I'm packing up the truck & trailer now, leaving next week for a slow trip to the Q.

Jon if you're going to be on I-40 going through New Mexico you can overnight at the Walmart in Edgewood and we can have a burrito with you.

I'll be further south. The last campground I have a reservation for is Pancho Villa in New Mexico for the week of November 21st. After that I'm playing by ear. Hoping to get a space at Sunny Flats and/or Gilbert Ray, then on to Quartzsite. I expect to hit the Q the second week of December.

Maybe your next chance to have a burrito together or something better will be at the Mountain Quail Cafe.

Looking like a real possibility that we'll be able to head South after Xmas. Might do Baja before Q'site, if conditions don't take a turn for the worse.

Have a safe trip South Jon.

Want badly to do Quartzsite so here at home currently field testing ET19. Might even sneak away into the Rocky Mountains because who knows, they might have snow there. If we could do Baja I would jump on it Ron. (Booster shot in a couple weeks.)

I’m new too. What do you mean by “repeatable”?

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that if you want another 2 weeks you pay another $40.

Yes. In the free 14 day areas you must leave for a month before coming back. In the LTVAs, as long as you purchase a new permit every 14 days, you can stay as long as you want.

Since Jon can't make it Myron, it would be nice to meet you when we come through on the way to AZ in early January. Just managed to snag 13 days (9 in one site, 4 in another) at Lost Dutchman SP from Jan. 16-25. It's so nice that we can make definite southern plans with the border opening.

we're going to Death Valley in mid/late March, and wouldn't mind spending a few+ nights at Quartzite on either side of this, if there's some fellow fiberglassians to hang with. Is March too late for the whole Q thing ?

There are a couple of threads for the Quartzsite Gathering this year here at the Escape forum, so I'll post a link to this year's photos at both of them: February 2022 Quartzsite Gathering.

As usual, I'll add photos as the gathering progresses.

Just watched your video. Thank you for sharing. We were at the 2020 rally (it was just before Covid). We had a fabulous time. Saw myself (twice) and hubby in your video - too funny.

Ah, the pork roll, repairs in the field and the Baja talk. Hard to believe that it's two years since we've been to Q'site. Your video really caught the spirit of the place.

Wish we could attend this year but things at still too crazy for my liking.
