Glen read the article . Very interesting . Checked papers on our purchase and I was wrong , turns out the cover is Organic cotton , not bamboo . Don’t know where I got that bamboo from . It has been many years now but toppers are still doing great and the cover is essential for the topper . Pat

I found a good mattress topper that suits us since we don't care for memory foam. It is a high quality 3" foam from Tempur Pedic called TruCool Diamond Luxury3" Surene foam Performance Mattress Topper.
It is soft but you don't sink all the way through to the mattress. Great for sidesleeper... Thanks for everyones feedback it really helped me decide.

Very happy you found a solution . When I needed to change mattress at home was looking at a Tempur Pedic I think it was called Luxe or something like that but a little out of our price range because also needed the adjustable frame due to my injury . But they sure are a great product too ! Pat

I went with a lavender-scented, 1.5-inch Memory Foam pad from Walmart. It’s perfect. You can even use the same sheets as it doesn’t raise the height much at all.

Because I have back issues - I will only sleep on Latex (natural rubber). - you can find them online or sometimes local. They are heavy - but so worth it. An amazing sleep. I also don't like the off-gassing from memory foam.

What is the functional difference between polyurethane foam (memory foam) and latex foam?

Latex- at least Talalay is made from rubber trees. Memory foam is synthetic(polyurethane), i.e. chemicals.

Latex foam also breathes fairly well, whereas memory foam doesn't, and being a warm sleeper I need my mattress to breathe very well.

+1 for laytex. 3-4” soft from amazon with a cover. Not cheap but worth it.

We found any of the ViSpring toppers to be the most comfortable made. We have the Heaven Luxury Supreme in our 19' Escape.

These are the premium of all mattress toppers, so they aren't cheap. However, there is nothing else as comfortable for all seasons. They will last you a lifetime. Find a dealer, and try one.

We also highly recommend the FROLI "Travel" System to go under your mattress.
