Rear Window Option for 21C

For a new 21C, there is the option of an awning rear window for those purchasing framed windows, which is what we are ordering. The additional cost is about $300 and I am wondering if the purchase is worth it. I would appreciate any thoughts from those who added this option.

Thank you.

I did, and am happy with the decision.

I wanted framed windows on the sides because I wanted a manual awning and didn't want to experience the awning arms vs frameless window collision. It's nice to be able to open the rear windows when it's raining and get some fresh air. I left the rear windows cracked open and the Maxx fan running pretty much the entire winter, which kept the trailer dry.

I can't reply with it being an option as I thang opted for the complete frameless option. However, I can say we have very seldom used it as an operating window. There are enough other venting windows, as well as the MaxxFan, to supply fresh air that we just don't need it for that, even in hot climate.

I think the window over the drawer stack is a better option. The window on the driver side slows a lot of airflow. The kitchen could use more natural light and the stack window would help.
