Recommendations for 17b replacement cushions/upholstry

I called an upholster and she said it would be around $2500 for the 4 person dinette and the 2 person dinette! Yikes. I might buy the appropriate sewing machine and attempt to learn a new skill at that price. Any recommendations for a cheaper route? We bought a new to us, but 17 year old 17b! I would love to get new foam and new covers.
Thanks

We just received our 2021 5.0 and had our dinette reupholstered. We didn’t like any if ETI’s options. We bought 17 yards of fabric and had a local shop do the work. Much nicer than factory options. We also had the rear seat cushion cut into two pieces (and I cut the plywood under the rear seat in two.). We spent $150 for fabric and $650 for labor. In my opinion it was $ well spent. I think $2500 is absurd. Shop around for your fabric on line and find a local shop to do the stitching.

Thanks for the info! This was including the foam. I will be looking around though and looking at getting my own foam direct from an online retailer I think.

There are a lot of sewing machines in Port Townsend. Id shop over there and other areas also. Advertise on the .... oh darn I thought I would be able to remember the name .... "Thrifty Nickel" a free community advertisement newspaper. Try sail makers ... Sail Rite sells Sunbrella fabric, sewing machines and sewing supplies .... plus many 'How To' videos. Did you check if Escape Trailers would do your upholstery with your fabric / foam choices?
