Yours is always bigger! But I was surprised any was up yet. Seeing a few asparagus tips, too.

Mine is probably 40 years old at least. I should dig it up and replace it with one of the new varieties. I'd do that, if I liked rhubarb.

I have one variety that has leaves that are about 24" across-but my favorite has solid red. The big one looks like celery.

Hi: gbaglo... That sounds like to much work. Barb thinks it's too cold in the am to get up yet so she's languishing in bed. Can't wait to get her stewed & mixed w/ some crushed pineapple!!! Alf

Despite having warm weather, 16° yesterday, we still have some nice white snow in the back yard.

Here is a picture of my garden today.

How do you stop dogs from peeing on your rhubarb?

So that’s what gives Rhubarb it’s unique flavor.

I never shy away from a good rhubarb, especially if it's strawberry-rhubarb.

My back yard right now. Though currently 17°, with a forecast high of 19°, just about room temperature. That snow won't last long at these temperatures. Click image for larger version

And yes, yes, I need to get tiling soon. [emoji16]

Actually that doesn't look like you have a lot left, we still have a pretty good patch, but it's thin now - in the areas sheltered from the sun. Maybe next weekend it'll be gone. I always wait for the frost to leave the ground before tilling ....
