Guess what may happen to the price of beer, if you drink it out of aluminum cans.

Expert on the topic said it will go up by 1/10 of a penny.
Auto parts are an issue. Some cross the border, going back and forth several times, before the vehicle is complete. Imagine keeping track of that.

Only one solution: put two horses in front of the Escape

To put things in perspective, the only steel which is used to construct an Escape and which might enter Canada from the U.S. as raw steel (rather than finished products) would be the frame material, which represents only a couple hundred dollars worth of material. If a tariff increases that cost by 25%, it won't be noticeable in the price of an Escape trailer. There is some steel in other components, of course, but whether the cost of those components would change would depend on the source of steel used by those component manufacturers.

There are other items in the trailer that could jump in price. Check the news from Elkhart, both manufactures and suppliers are very concerned.
Most circuit boards come from China, specialty fabrics and parts from Europe , plus resins and lots of other stuff from both the U.S. and Canada . Imagine a protracted tariff war and the effect it could have on the RV industry.
