Has it ever been different? I've seen a few of them end. John Deere service comes to mind.

When Tammy and Reace operated Escape it was different, if you were not happy, they were not happy.....

I must have been betwixt and between the change over. I picked up mine in Aug 19. I came up early to attend a reunion at Ft Lewis and went up to ETI about 2 weeks before my delivery just to look around.

Rease happened to be at the front desk when I came in ( I didn't know who he was) and I told the lady at the desk I just came up to see the 21 as mine was soon to be delivered. When he heard that he offered to show me around and explain my new trailer.

I was impressed with that

What I meant was, as you said. Era's end. It has never been different. The ETI old era ended and a new one began.

John Deere service around here is great. My dad owned a dealership for many years, 2nd largest in Alberta and in the top 10 in Canada at the time. Service was very important to them, as it is with the new owners.

I should have qualified my comment. Nothing has anything but Good service when I took something to the dealer.

We used to do maybe 80% of our repairs and maintenance. Like everything else, computers run the equipment now. JD will not sell/lease their diagnostic/maintenance software so we have to take just about everything to a dealer.

A $500 parts job turns into a $5000 job. Flatbed the sucker to Corpus and pay their labor prices.

There's a lawsuit up in NB somewhere now but I don't think someone could/should be forced to sell their work product.

I should add that we haven't purchased any new equipment for sometime now (guess why) so it could be different, but I would bet not.

No mention of the fact that Deere has made it so that farmers can no longer fix their own tractors?

I got to know Rease, Tammy, and their daughter Erin fairly well....great people....had a conversation with him about just trying to keep up with production.......and I know that he felt a loyalty to customers that bought trailers from him.....however, I think it gets a little difficult to handle 2nd and 3rd owners...especially as models
Changed.......Dave in service used to do stuff for me on our 2017 5.0 as long as I let him know well in advance........
