Springfield Pedestal and Tabletop

Working on our build sheet now. I've been reading the forum for info on the Springfield pedestal. What I gather is that most popular model is the 3 stage pedestal. I know that we would bring it with us to orientation and it will be installed by ETI. Do they also attach the tabletop to it? Or is that something we have to do? And how does the tabletop move then? My understanding is that the standard tabletop moves side to side (we will have regular dinette, not the U). Will the tabletop still move the same way when installed on the Springfield? In reading the forum, I heard mention of swivel in all direction. Thanks.

They attached both the pedestal to the floor & the table to the pedestal in 2017 for my 21. The slide is the stock Escape slide - the table moves parallel to the back of the trailer.

ETI will attached to the slide that comes with the table to the springfield if you would like them too. Then your table will still slide left and right.

A full size table in the standard dinette configuration likely has the table against the back wall. Only with the U-shape dinette and/or a smaller table would allow you to rotate the table completely around. This is the same issue that is created in the front of the 19 with a full size table. The Springfield does allow for rotation while pedestal is clamped if you have the clearances. Otherwise the table will move side-to-side the same as if it were on the stock pedestals.
