Storing clams

I've heard that clams are very popular, not the edible kind, but the pop up screen houses like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TMBENDS. Where do you store your clams?

We are thinking about getting one to go with our 19 and have noted that there are two sizes, one that has a "pack size" of 72" x 8" x 8" and a slightly larger one at 81.5" x 10.5" x 10.5". We're wondering if the larger one would fit into the rear hatch under the bed, or if it would be too long at just under 7'? Another option would be inside the trailer of course.

We have the Cabella's version of the big Clam (The Pavilion) and it is VERY BIG. In our Grand Cherokee it goes from the tailgate to just over the center console between the front seats.

It's too big for the trailer hatch. Even if the hatch opening were big enough it would be a struggle getting it in and out. It's even a little difficult to get in the door.

It fits on the queen bed in the 19 but you have to put one end in first and angle the other up towards the ceiling to get it in.

It will go on the floor too but it's not convenient to get around.

All that said it is nice and sets up fairly easily. It's large size is nice when set up, it even fits around the huge picnic tables our state parks tend to have in Wisconsin. Just make sure to stake out the lines at the center of each panel if it gets windy and rainy or it will come down (ask me how I know).

We have the 72 inch clam. With the 4Runner, I tied it on the roof rack. That worked quite well, but it weathered the zippered cloth bag that it goes into. With the Tundra we put it in the 6 1/2 foot bed. It fits perfectly.

Just recently bought the Clam EscapeXL. This packs to 78"x10"x10". It fits snug but nicely through the rear outside access hatch and slides under the bed angled towards the opposite corner. Any longer and it wouldn't fit. Best done with two people so it can be held level and fed through gently. This is with a classic 19. I would check before buying though because the under bed configuration/clearances could be different with the new mold.
