Re: stove/oven on escape....???

At present we have 2 doors. The trap for the sink prevents 2 drawers from being installed.

Re: stove/oven on escape....???

HERE is the same oven with a different name at Canadian Tire.

THIS
Coleman oven looks like it might be good if you already have an outside stove. I know of a couple people that have one and love it, though I have never tried it myself. It also folds flat for better storage. THESE instructions might give some more insight into it.

Re: stove/oven on escape....???

I was looking at first for inside oven but after thinking more..... we decide to not doing the modification for the stove/oven combo.....I just thinking all the inside gonna permeate of the smell of the fish and other smell maybe longer than we expect.

We have one of those coleman ovens. It works great, but needs a constant eye on it. Also, it needs to be out of the wind, or it'll take forever to bake anything! But it is nice to have fresh baked goodies in camp, miles from anywhere!!

Re: stove/oven on escape....???

We have the little boxy coleman oven that uses a camp stove.
I have made meatloaf/baked potatoes and brownies when we have been out camping...

Frquently muffins for breakfast....

But, it is true you do have to keep an eye on it...

That bottom one looks very interesting.. Will search info on that..

Re: stove/oven on escape....???

I just bring my sweet 'Muffins' along with me.

And should anyone meet my wife, and tell her I actually called her this online, you are in big trouble, ok. (Because she prefers to be called Pookie)

I was done for ages ago. Getting into trouble with the missus is second nature for me.

Anyone have a link to (or the name/model of) the Oven with 3 burner cooktop option on the Escape build sheet?

We have the 3-burner stove and oven combo in our 19. The oven is an Amana. We really love the oven.

Hmm, appears Amana is no longer making RV ovens - PPL site says no longer available and not listed on the Amana site......

Thanks Larry. Wondering about ordering it without the goofy folding top.

We got the oven in our 21,one of the reasons we got the Escape. We took the top off and put on a cutting board from Camping World. Perfect fit. The top was no big deal to remove. Nice to have the extra area with the board and not worry about scratching the folding top.

I make combo stove topper/cutting board/serving trays, similar thoughts here! No cover model of stove might be a $40 discount.
