It's a 18-pages threads because it's the off season for a good number of people... try summer next time
We got a called from Reace when we broke the window on our 1 week old trailer.. he called us on a Sunday afternoon trying to see what he can do to help us get the glass replaced. As much as I like receiving personal attention of owner(s), I know it does not scale easily when you have thousands of customers, and ETI has already exceeded that. I'm looking forward to see how they grow the company while maintaining some personal touches to the owners.
Now as we are getting ready for our first winter camping trip (If you can call it winter in California), I am really happy we have this trailer.

I have seen this as an Escape "attribute" many many times throughout this forum. In this day and age of leave a message, recordings, push #1 for, send an email etc, we (consumers) value getting instant gratification. I think it wise for a company that is known or wants to promote customer service to consider rotating an "on call" person during off hours. The person would not necessarily need to answer the call, but a response would be forthcoming. I do not envision events to be constant but the relief of having an issue addressed in a timely fashion goes a long way. Also such comments are NOTICED by potential "buy from the factory" consumers. As a former business owner whose business was built strictly on word of mouth I firmly believe that advertising is overrated and customer service is not only rare but a worthwhile place to invest in.
I post this with the hope that MANAGEMENT sees it and that Escape maintains the strong word of mouth advertising it has built it's business on.

We are getting close to our two year anniversary of our 19. We had a hiccup or two when we first received it. Tammy and Reace handled the situation in professional manner and treated us with respect, concern and expediency. We couldn't have been happier with how they managed the situation while we were over 2,000 miles away.

Up here we don't have accents, It's the ones south of the border that have accents.

I think you're confusing us with those chaps across the pond.

It is 18 pages because folks have not bothered to set it different in their preferences. I am still on page 5.

On call in off hours? That sounds expensive, to expect/pay an employee to be tied down to a phone on their days "off". And if that person doesn't know the answer, pay for another person to be contacted. The only one in my life who offers that service is my doctor. And the service is an answering/screening who will call him or the on call person if it is deemed serious enough.

Thank you for your response, Tammy. Good to hear that! I would much prefer to deal with the factory direct instead of a dealer!

Interestingly, I got an e-mail from Reace yesterday (nb Saturday which also isn't that unusual) on an e-mail question that I had sent him. Anyway, he signed it as "Director of Operations." To me that's important, still fully involved where customers want him to be, and just as importantly, where he wants to be. That's a win-win.

Hey Anybody else from Williamson County own an Escape? Graduated from BGA 1964 and rented a small farm on Columbia Highway south of town in the 70s. I lived in Montana long enough that I could translate when I went up North.

I remember running across a few folks like yourself on campus. Fortunately I had spent a summer up at Lake Geneva and understood a little when these folks tried to communicate.
