Lightbulb TIP for new owners ...

Soon after you acquire your new Escape, I urge you to crawl under and take a photo of the manufacturer tags on your axles for your archive of trailer data. Those tags are often quickly damaged or obscured by the ravages of travel.

Hopefully you'll never need it, but if you do have an axle problem the data on those tags can be invaluable.

Good idea. I took a photo which I keep on my phone and peeled the label off a stuck in on the folder where I keep all my trailer documents.
