Trailer Name - Location and Font

The most fundamental question about location might be what wall of the trailer - rear, front, or sides. The most popular choice seems to be on the rear, where it can be read by following traffic - after all, someone driving the opposite direction doesn't have much time to glimpse the name on the front. The other place which makes sense to me is on the curb side, beside the door, for visitors.

We've talked about curb side under the kitchen window, and also on the back under the dinette window. We are having decals made and will decide where to place and put on after we pick up.
Our decals that ETI are putting on are gold. To differentiate from the trailer decals the name decals will be copper.

I put the name on the front rock guard so it could be seen in a campground - but when the rock guard is up (as it usually is when parked), the name is not as visible.

Ten Forward has black graphics. My tug is white with black/chrome accents. I figure black graphics are like the "little black dress."

Of course we are. But hey... there's a reason for choosing the color of the decals and sometimes it's more than just the tug color, etc.

Our 19' is trimmed with "Sherwood Green.". However, Avery has discontinued that color.

BTW. The color and tone you see on your monitor isn't necessarily accurate.
All you have to do to test this is tilt the top of the screen back and then forward and the depth of color will change.
For professional work, a monitor has to be color calibrated to ensure what you are seeing is what you will get.

Some eyes are also not that great at seeing colors properly. A buddy of mine is color blind and has trouble differentiating between certain colors. Works well for us, when we go on extended canoe trips, we always give him the green cheese.

We named our trailer Hazel. We got the lettering from letteringonthecheap.com.
Our truck is blue, we have blue ETI graphics, and were able to get a close match for the lettering. Overall, a nice effect.

One name over the door, and another on the back of the trailer, just above the spare tire.
