What could cause a trailer to go up in seconds like that? I knew they could catch fire quickly but didn't know it happened in mere seconds...

Just about everything in a travel trailer will burn easily except for the frame and axles.
A good reminder to have more than the single extinguisher that Escape provides.

Report on late news was that it involved roof-top air conditioner.
