You have to be careful here and I suggest you wait. I installed a 19" attached at the edge of the wall support but it was too large to lay flat against the wall open. You have to get the right size tv mount and then measure if you want it to be in the corner at an angle or flat against the wall so that the occupant in that seat can watch. I'd wait and then make your decision. What you do have to decide is having the cable hook up installed and an extra 12v or 120v outlet for the tv in the upped cabinet overhead.

I think Donna D has a tele installed there in her 5TA; same cabinetry as the 21 though.

Nope, I had the kitchen side wall reinforced. I like sitting on the frig side and look out the window to my patio (or TV)... not look at the neighbors.

road trip,thanks steve,
I had my 21 plumbed for an additional TV, cable, and power outlets under the front of the dinette. My thought was to keep the smaller TV (17-19in. max) stored when not in use and set up on the dinette or bedside table when viewing. This also leaves more room for watching a DVD from a laptop or streaming from a tablet and having those available 12/120V plugs free. Setting up the TV will take 30 seconds for the 25% of time it's used.

We're planning on doing the same thing and for the same reasons. Though we may go with a slightly larger TV.

I too am considering 12 volt at the dinette. Does anyone watch television on their laptop? I think it can be done with a tuner that connects cable on one side to USB (into the laptop) on the other side. Anyone doing anything like this? My laptop has a nice 15 in. screen and this way I would not need to take along a television.

I should have said I am considering 12 volt and cable at the dinette.

By the way, I certainly appreciate all I am learning on this forum. Thanks!

Casejh,
I have not used the laptop to watch movies, but I did order 12v plugs under the dinette, just in case that opportunity arises.
