For me, at the end of a long hard days drive, I like to be able to have a frozen dinner, a drink, and just relax. So I got the inverter to all plugs and its been worth it.

It's sort of like buying a car or truck and deciding what options have become requirements. Cruise control, heated seats and back up cameras used to be luxuries. Now I wouldn't buy a vehicle without them. Then there's the cooled seats, the heated steering wheel....

We got the inverter and the all outlet switch, and enjoy using it all.

With everything on sale by 25 to 30 % due to the exchange rate, I would load up a new Escape if buying this year.

Consider a back up camera for the rear of the trailer, too. Reace said he loves it, but I guess it's more or less free for him.

Potentially.. though that's a pretty severe worst-case. Sounds like the 1000W is the power draw rather than the output, so it'd be a lot closer to 18Ah out of ~120Ah.

Exactly. For Americans, it is all on sale. Get what you would like to have if it is doable under your budget.
