Latest Update

Jim was released from the acute care facility last night and is now back home. He has settled into his “zero gravity chair” which he was bragging about this morning. He seems to be not the worse for wear cognitively as he came up with a solution for how to deal with the leak I have in the gray water system. Physically he has a long recuperation period in front of him. He has an appetite, sense of humor, and was surprisingly alert. Not bad for a man who literally took a step over to the ‘other side’ not once but twice.

I wouldn't be shocked if he resumed his role on the forum sometime in the not too distant future. It hasn’t been the same without him.

Nice to hear that, though I never met Jim his wit and wisdom has been much appreciated by those of us who don’t post much. Hope he gains strength quickly.

So happy to get the update.

Just put Jim’s address in my phone’s “address book, with reminder to myself who he is (I get confused about who’s who in that “book”, I admit) with the description “Escape Forum guy-extraordinaire”.

Love this Forum, love the folks who show up here - and some, as we all know, are total “stand-outs”.

Yep, Jim, that would be you.

Wonderful news. The forum is not the same without Jim.

I wonder if he is going to post any pictures of the food he is eating?

This really good news, Noelia sent a pic of Jim resting in his chair by a window - so much better than being in a hospital. Happier patient feels better and heals better! Recuperation is much faster at home, we expect to see them at the next Osoyoos rally.
