Haha! I would if it wasn't so hot!

Emailed ETI this morning, Tammy will be sending a new set up ASAP!
I did have visitors (friends) that had to come check her out, but then on down to the storage. Ran into another friend there, so she spotted me backing in for the first time, glad she was there!
I spent a couple of hours loading stuff inside, knowing full well I'll probably move it again! It got too hot so I decided to leave for the day. Seems the electrical hookup there is such that I can't get plugged in. The cover for the box gets in the way of that big head on my cord...gonna have to figure that out when it's cooler tho.

No new pictures...I had stuff everywhere - don't want to show off my mess!

Vickie, you will need one of these with an extension cord, allows the use of 15 amp receptacles without using the heavy plug. Amazon.com : Marinco Marine Electrical Shore Power Pigtail Adapter, Yellow : Boating Shore Power Adapters : Sports & Outdoors

Jim, funny you should say that! The little short adapted ETI gives....well that fits but still does not give me enough clearance. Okay, so I have one like you have pictured... And it won't plug in!? I don't get it, and I tried several times. So tomorrow I will go back out and try again!

Well I was able to get My Dream plugged in today! Turned on the AC and dang, it's reading in C* instead of F*...okay where is that manual again!!

Had some visitors...couple across from me with a giant 5er, but they just had to come look see. The lady said this would be perfect for her sister and asked how much longer I would be there! Well they went off and 30 mins later they came back with sister on tow. Handed out my first card without leaving the storage lot!

So then, it is set in a gradient that is easy to comprehend.

Just unplug and reverse the plug, that should change it…….

Does it really matter what the number is? If it's too cold....turn it down. If it's too hot...turn it up. Like your refrigerator.

Hi: Vicki A... There's nothing wrong with C* instead of F*. They're 2.2 times bigger...that's all. Remember this rhyme "30 is hot, 20 is nice, 10 is cool 0 is ice". Alf

Agreed... except that celcius degrees are only 1.8 times as large as Fahrenheit, and the two scales are offset from one another by 32 F or about 18 C degrees (so you can't just multiply a temperature from one scale by a factor to get the value on the other scale).

True... but the other way: if it's too cold....turn the setting up. If it's too hot...turn it down. Now, which way did the refrigerator knob go again?

Agreed... But - 40* C & F are the same!!! Darn cold. Alf

Friday, finally, my escape hatch came in! Looked at it to see if I could "piece it out" to fix it...nope, not gonna happen . So I went to the local RV shop to get an appointment - a week from Monday! It sure is nice having her here, but 3 wks wasted does not make me happy. There is a reason somewhere...probably will never know what or why, oh well!

Hi: Vicki A... Sorry to hear about your hatch hiccups. Ours must have been open a bit when the staff at ETI washed the trailer. We had them do a mattress replacement before I could be blamed for the result!!! Alf

Did you look at the damaged one vs the new one. when I replaced the MaxxAir vent cover and have done several Fantastic Fan cover replacements, the cover is attached with screws/bolts. Removal and replacement was easy, getting up there and back was not. But ether way I feel your pain, having a new but damaged item is stressful, remember my locks did not work.

Hi Alf! Yes I have noticed that there is a fine between the red emergancy latch being "closed" and being locked! I think I may have to do some "southern engineering"!
