We did it!

We did it! We've placed our order for a 17B Escape and begun the joyous anticipation until July of next year. Weird, but I don't think we waited that long when we had our house built years ago!

You've heard it before so it's nothing new to most of you but, as I wrote to Tammy, it's scary and exciting at the same time. After all, it's a big commitment, wondering whether you've made all the right choices for options, etc..

We've been lurking on the Forum for several months now and used so many of your wonderful comments, suggestions and critiques in making our choices. We cannot say enough about what a wonderful group of helpful, informed and friendly folks you all are. We look forward to meeting many of you face-to-face once we begin our own "Escape." In the meantime, we'll continue to read the Forum eagerly, as we fine-tune our choices.

Thanks, all!

Re: We did it!

Welcome and congratualations!
As you've probably read, you can add, change and modify your order until very near the build date. Certain items MUST be ordered several months in advance (like insulated windows), but Tammy can advise you of the timeline.

We just returned from our first trip and are extremely happy with our choices and with the trailer. Enjoy the process!
