Wet Baths....Problem or Not?

These are all very good suggestions, thank you. I agree that there are always going to be trade-offs with anything and that there is no "perfect" RV out there. Having said that, I do think there are more positives than negatives with fiberglass RVs than traditionally constructed RVs.

I assume you mean the outside shower hook-up, correct? Escape doesn't actually supply an outside shower, right?

No outside shower enclosure, to my knowledge.

These SHOWER SPLASH CLIPS were suggested to me last year and they work great. They are on Amazon and come in different types, but they are great for holding the the shower curtain tight and secure.

I like it! It's awesome seeing all of the little "tricks of the trade" people have come up with to make their rigs a more user friendly!

Get a box of large trash bags and cover the toilet when taking a shower. Quickly squeegee the walls and shake the trash bag A bit, then remove it......dry toilet.

So easy to wipe down . Leave your fan on a few minutes and if you have a window in bath open . Not a problem at all . Pat

'Dry Bath' Never had one of those. Got to be a better way to describe this but I don't know one.

Seems one advantage of a wet bath never gets mentioned - every time you take a shower, it gets washed down.

Out toilet / shower /sink is always clean!

Nice photographic example of the outdoor shower in use! But those long shorts might not be the best option; much more surface area could be washed if the 'shower model' wore a Speedo.

My husband installed a second shower curtain rail so we can stand within 2 lightweight curtains. The curtain rods form a ceiling rectangle and with 2 polyester curtains that dry very fast, we can now shower in the Escape. Hang the curtains outside to dry (in a few minutes) We also used dry deck tiles to cover the floor. The curtains came from Walmart and were about $12 each. The dry deck tiles came from West Marine. They can be cut to fit any space with a large pair of scissors. Our days of using campground showers are over.

We originally started looking for a 17A, no bath, found a 17B. We used it for 5 years. The bath was very handy especially when on long trips. We saw some really dirty washrooms along the US Interstates. I wouldn’t buy a trailer with out a bath again.

As for the wet bath, I didn’t want one of those either. My new 19 has a wet bath and with the pandemic I’m glad I got it.

No, the Escape could be bigger and better and different, but I wouldn’t change a thing. These trailers are perfect.

The micro-fiber towels they use at the car wash make clean-up a 45 second job. I wouldn't give up any space for something you use for 5 minutes a day.

We have never known anything but the wet bath. The E19 was a great change for us over our casita because it was easier to move around and I’m 6’1”. We use the curtain supplied and have had a problem with the toilet area getting too wet. We also have a resin flooring that drains and drys easily and wipe down consist of using the towel we just dried with. We also had the outside hose connection installed and we have a shower head we use with it outside with a foldable enclosure.

We extended the rod and now use a full size shower curtain, with suction cups. We drag the curtain across the toilet area and attach it to the wall with the suction hooks. There's some condensation, but no shower water in the toilet area.
