Yes they do. Mine has three settings, the lowest is quite acceptable plus I also have a red lens for it. The extra lumens are nice there.

There are lots of times I flip it on to bright or I am asked to. Etiquette is always a priority, but so is a good flashlight when you REALLY need it.

Just my two cents.

Back in November I took advantage of the 5% off code that Jim (of DejaView) posted. I ordered Hypervent for my 17A and just got around to installing it today. The largest piece across the front twin bed (74x30), both benches on the back dinette, and a 22x24 piece under each of the seats just inside the door. I'm thankful for accurate measurement before i ordered, there are only two scraps left.

Next up, a piece of reflectix for inside the cover of the front window.

It does not get that cold there in Placerville, does it?

Winter overnight temps here can be below freezing and we occasionally have snow but it usually doesn't last long. I am in AZ in late Feb/early Mar each year and it can get below freezing there as well.

I'm also hoping it may help reduce condensation on that window, which is just above my bed.

Anybody know a source for replacement of the metal latches for the front window? They are pretty rusty.

Why do people reply to threads with coloured font?

"Why do people reply to threads with coloured font?"

I don't. I use "colored" fonts. I believe it is handy for them who don't otherwise understand or "appreciate" the clarifying importance quotation "plays".

But I'm Canadian so mine are coloured fonts. I use them when my reply includes multiple quotes. I use color to provide a visual separation between the different quotes.

Went out today and drilled some small holes in the clearance lights, on the bottom. This will eliminate condensation inside (3 of mine had some) and allow air to dry out inside.

If there's 3 posts that you want to quote click "multiquote" for the first two only, then click "quote" on the third.

Testing trailer systems, packing, hooking up for a departure tomorrow headed to Q'site.

When we got the trailer in early Sept. we went for a very local two night try out of the new trailer. Everything worked OK except we never used the furnace. Then it came home, got drained etc., got 35 mods and sat under a cover.

So filled tanks, tested all systems and everything is working . Fired up the furnace for the first time, a bit of odor but that's probably typical for the first use or two.

So the weather looks good through Oregon and Northern California, we're ready to roll.

ahhh, finally broke down, got a 6 point 3/4" deep socket and a 18" 3/8" drive extension and the electric drill-driver to 3/8" adapter so I can use my 2-speed drill-driver (in low gear) to run my BAL jacks up and down.... that and a fresh dose of lithium grease on the lead screw and drive bushing washers, and running them end to end a couple times, and wow, its SO much smoother and SO much faster than messing with the hand crank.

Two nights of testing my double glazing of the front window. Wow, works incredibly well. No dripping condensation, I can see out of it when the other windows are cloudy.

Didn't want to sleep with my head so close to a single glazed window. Yes, yes, I know that I could have put reflectix between the guard and the window but I like to be able to see out towards the truck at night.

Worked so well I'm going to do the same mod. on the rear window.
