Shearwater I did almost exactly the same mod. A word of advice, put some locks on those sliders for travel. If not, the contents will be ejected. Don't ask how I know.

I put a 24" TV and heavy Mounting Dream mounting bracket in the middle of the flimsy side of the cabinet in our 21C. See here:

Well I took advantage of the cool Marine overcast this am and washed, waxed the trailer in prep for our 10 day trip coming up when my wife retires soon.

Showing it off somewhere? I'd wait and wash it when I got home.

I wash it after every trip. It’s been covered in the driveway. But had not been waxed since we bought it 1 1/2 years ago. I got cool weather so thus the wax job. Back under the cover for a week. The wax also helps with bug removal when we get back.

Finally got it done

Finished framing and bracing for the Lagun last night and installed the table top this morning. More stable than what I had anticipated.

Cookin with gas Vern…

If you like using Blackstone with your camper and want to use one for your home this is what you need for a 28’ or 36’ griddle, to convert it to natural gas.

The kit was shipped to the house and the piping to go from 1/2” to 3/8” was picked up at the store.

Just make sure you have natural gas outside where you cook, otherwise an expensive alteration will be needed./...

I finished installing my DIY lithium batteries and inverter in my new 21c. Ran the AC on batteries for 18 hours straight, and cooked a pizza in the convection oven at the same time. Peak power draw was 2850 watts, and amazingly enough, nothing caught fire!

Nice! Would you please provide photos and details regarding your system? Which air conditioner are you using in your 21 C, Hugh?

Yep, I'd be happy to post some more details... I should have some time over the next few days to take some pics and provide some more details.

But in answer to your question, the AC is just the Coleman Mach 10 that Escape is installing now. I'm powering everything from a 960Ah/12V battery bank (two of the gray batteries above) and a Victron Multiplus 3000VA inverter. The Mach 10 draws around 1200W when the compressor is running, but the compressor duty cycle is probably around 50% or so.

Got the stair treads stained, finished and re-installed. Have to thank "WanderBred" for stain info.

Nice job Shearwater!
Was planning a similar project. Looks like you added some furring strips to the corners to attach the sliders to. Was that the case?

Replaced a few cabinet catches with these heavy duty ones: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PVN1JMQ...roduct_details
I was having problems with a few of the roller springs OEM catches breaking and not aligning with the door strikes. These seem very robust and the ball bearings have adjustable tension.

I replaced our door lock with a new compact RV Door Lock. Installation was more than 10 minutes (per the manufacturer) but only took 30 minutes. [emoji4]Click image for larger version

Took our truck and 5.0 to the RV wash & wax and got it cleaned and waxed. They said they used ceramic spray, but I don’t know how to verify except that it sure looks clean.

Not today but last week...cut the rear driver's side fiberglass one our 15A to install a new cargo door where there wasn't one along with a new locking fresh water inlet & city water fittings.

Nicely done. Looks like a case of measure twice, cut once.

Ron, I think on this job, I actually measured about 1/2 dozen times . The worst part is just the flat out mess of cutting fiberglass. I suited up with nitrile gloves, respirator mask, old pants & windbreaker & goggles.
