Next years rally is a ways off, Donna. Would love to see you there. As well, I would love to come to the Oregon gatherings, lordy knows I love that state. Just need to be able to get more time away from work, preferably more permanently.

What did you do for your Escape today.....
Today I removed a loose awning guide rail, cleaned off the old silicone glue on the metal rail and the trailer. I reinstalled the rail with new silicone glue and used a wood shim 1x2" to hold in place for 2 hours. Do not forget to disable the power button. Removed the shim and closed the awning, insuring the edge misses the trim. After 24 hours it should be permanent.

Since I don't have my Escape Trailer yet (it's on order) I'm still accumulating bits and pieces.
TODAY (rumor has it) is the very day that my dream composting toilet will be arriving by Fedex.
Very exciting I know.
: )
PS We are going to call it "the cat box", and no we don't have any cats.

Progress
I just worked on my presentation at the Mississippi River Rally next week.
I realized I needed some public speaking pointers so I attended a meeting at our nature center on climate change where the speaker displayed a comprehensive knowledge of the topic of the day. I shook his hand and thanked him for visiting our home town. Here’s his picture. Later I took delivery on some 2020 Iowa Road Maps for distribution to visitors to our little piece of heaven on the prairie.

Bought a 2 1/2" hole saw to drill & mount a switch for my inverter & one to replace the toggle battery disconnect switch. It will take a bit of filing - the hole needs to be 2 - 9/16" , but 2 1/2" is as close as they get.

What did you do for your Escape today.....
Bought a new dehumidifier for our trailer.
After arriving back in northern B.C., we encountered a fair bit of rain and cold nights needless to say we had LOTS of condensation (behind dinette cushions, where mattress touches wall etc.)
Opening the window, turn on the maxxfan while running the furnace only made things worse (exhausting 70% RH air out and replacing it with 90% wasn’t working).
Researching dehumidifiers lead me to desiccant units as they are very quiet.
Pushed send and ordered the following one from amazon.
Ivation 13-Pint Small-Area Desiccant Dehumidifier Compact and Quiet - With Continuous Drain Hose for Smaller Spaces, Bathroom, Attic, Crawlspace and Closets - For Spaces Up To 270 Sq Ft https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07B8SCPZ4/..._yTuHDbB0HY4RH
After 2 days and 1 night (with windows and vents closed) I was totally impressed with this unit, it easily kept the RH down around 35% as it expels warm dry air the furnace cycled less often. For us our condensation problems are solved.

Interesting dehumidifier there, I never heard of the bigger sized units, I have used these little desiccant units in the past in my trailers, once thy turned blue you plug them in until they turn pink and repeat.

Do you plug them in inside the trailer? Where does the moisture go when you plug them in?

Jim this one brought my 5.0TA down from approximately 70% to 35% in about 4 hours. Bonus is it’s quiet enough to run on high even at night.
When I ordered it I never expected it to work as good as it does.

I do not know that answer, I do not think it adds it back, but I could be wrong.
