What is the best sink for a 21? Round?

Can anyone share what they feel is the best sink for a 21? We am building a 21NE and would like a little bit bigger sink if possible. We like the look of round actually.

A round sink would fit but you loose utilization of a lot of space - the counter in a 21NE is not that big to start with.

I have helped install a brand of sink in several 21's that really impressed me with it's quality.

Here is a thread that has a beige one.

That sink is really nicely made and as big as you would want to install.

Of course, I would install the Hepvo as well.

If I had a 19' or 21NE, due to the limited counter space, I'd go deep instead of wide. I love my deep sink, keeps all the water where it belongs instead of on the floor or countertop. This sink was installed in a Casita... not mine.

You gave us that link Donna . Very nice sink . We decided though a facet sprayer was very important then a deep sink . So instead we changed out the facet with one that has a sprayer . That way you can rinse much better to not have all that splash . Another thing is being water frugal was also the other reason that drove that decision to not bother with a deeper sink .Pat

I often use a dish pan in my sink. Wash on one side, rise on the other. I really don't think it takes any more water. What is nice, because it's deeper is I can fit bigger pots and pans inside without all the splash. Twelve years of a bar sink in my Scamp was 11 years and 11 months too much for me. The sink in Ten Forward is one of my favorite mods.

Yes we also use a dishpan if boondocking . That water is then used for toilet flush instead of fresh water . We only have 20 gal fresh and we like our nightly navy shower. Disappointed the fresh is only 20 gal our previous camper had 35 gal we also have containers to carry additional 20 gal . Haven’t found any problem with cleaning pots . Pat

We had a round sink in our Lance and Terry said, "Never Again!" It looked cool, but she missed the corners. Terry would like a sink that is just 2" wider than the stock ETI sink that came in our October 2018 5.0 TA. She feels the depth is just fine.

But you're not Terry.

Enjoy,

Perry

A double sink for the E21

Hi Bluesky -- Congrats on the new 21NE! For us, we really like our double sink in our 21. A picture is below.

We bought the sink at Etrailer, and escape agreed to install it. (https://www.etrailer.com/RV-Sinks/Pa...77-000601.html)

We often have a cutting board on top of one of the sinks (https://www.amazon.com/Camco-43437-B...k+Cover+Bamboo). It provides extra counter space as well. - Bea

I could be wrong but there might not be room for the double sink in the 21NE.

Yes wish we had our double sink that we had previously especially in our 9 1/2 camper with the 35 gal water our little 23 ft motor home also had a double sink , would definitely install one in our trailer but just doesnít have the counter . Every rv you get something and lose something . No perfect RV , impossible Pat
