We get to pick up our 21 in January and we are thinking of names too.So far we are leaning towards Hound Hauler because we always travel with our two Italian Greyhounds it just means something to us😀Cannot wait to start the adventures with our beautiful trailer, there is not another company like Escape! But would also like to thank all the people along the way that have helped us on this forum and in person. Sharon and Mike

I really like Greyhounds. When they are out running free they are poetry in motion. Hope you have a lot of great adventures with your dogs and your new Escape.

I'm finding choosing the perfect name is a more difficult decision than choosing items off the Build Sheet This is such a fun thread. I have some time before mine hatches but I'm thinking of InnEscapeAble, Mini Pearl (I'd have to hang price tags everywhere!), or Escape Pod (Yes, I love Star Wars!). Are any of those already taken?

Don't think I;d worry too much about someone else using the same name. While we'd all like to be original, there's only so many names to go around. Just think about how many here have named their trailers "the trailer".

I bought Rich's 2013 Escape 19. (Username Zardoz) For those outside the Northwest, the inland salt waters of Washington and British Columbia are known collectively as the "Shalish Sea." So as we are based in this area, and will be using our new-to-us Escape to "See" more of the US and Canada, I'm thinking of re-christening it the [Shalish "See"]. What do you think?

Sounds like a great name Sharon and Mike. We completed the build sheet for our Escape 19 and it went into production November 24 we will call it B cubed for Becky, Barry and the Borders (Border Terriers) or just a suggestion to B cubed

Best get it right. Salish, not Shalish.

Salish Sea

The Salish Sea is the intricate network of coastal waterways that includes the southwestern portion of the Canadian province of British Columbia and the northwestern portion of the U.S. state of Washington. Wikipedia

Shalish is Hebrew for Officer. So it would be "Officer See." Kinda cool

Duplicate Names

I wouldn't worry too much about duplicating a name. Of course that's coming from a " David" out of the late 40's tacked onto Smith. 2 in one class in school, 9 at Iowa State University, 40 some in the Omaha Metro when I lived there and one on the obit page every so often, which is scary after a previous nights bender. Have to pinch myself. 😜

And, then there is this:

See
noun, Ecclesiastical. 1. the seat, center of authority, office, or jurisdiction of a bishop.

Which would make it Officer Office.

Who knew it could be this complicated?

I love it! ...could expand to "She Sells Sea Shells At Shalish Sea"!

Since I just adopted Dog #4 (Don't judge!), I'm leaning towards "The Mutt Hut". Did I read somewhere on the forum that ETI will put the name on for free, or am I hallucinating?
