Where does the time go?

My 1st cross-country tow vehicle and camper, and our most recent. Things change, but the journey continues.

That tent looks strangely familiar to an REI model I had. Two poles and a slew of ground stakes. If your site had good drainage it was not too bad a tent after we sewed Velcro to keep the mosquito netting closed.

Ah! Those were the days.

Orange backpack

I recall having a very similar if not identical orange backpack. It had a very heavy duty aluminum frame. Brings back memories.😁

Do you recall the Mountain range in the first picture?

in the Canadian Rockies - we left from somewhere near Banff and Lake Louise - hiked up to a lake and back - 9 days total. This was in June, 1975 - I remember the sun felt like it would never go down, of course no watches, GPS, or internet - we navigated by topo maps and compass - it is a miracle we completed the hike.
