Why We Chose Escape

We've owned three Jayco's: two Eagles (1995 5th wheel and 2011 Eagle) and a 2015 JayFlight) The 95 5th wheel was built like a tank, very solid and had zero problems. The 2011 was poorly made. The JayFlight was almost identical to the trailer being shown. We purchased it in the fall at a very attractive price and sold it in the spring, at a substantial profit, and had to pay income taxes on the profit. We felt the JayFlight was suspect, but after viewing the video are glad we never took it on a single trip. This is an old video, but now they are producing them even faster.

We started receiving pictures of our 5.0 build a week ago and they have quite a bit left. Jayco would have built it in seven hours! This slam/bam construction is why we chose Escape. Escape has been wonderful to work with, takes time in their build, and has bent over backwards to accommodate our wishes.

Enjoy,

Perry

That video makes me want to call mister Jayco and call him out, to get him to give his under-pressure workers a break.

Okay, that video is a pretty convincing argument for answering my post asking why I should buy an Escape rather than something like a Jayco Hummingbird.

Absolutely mind blowing. At that pace no wonder things get missed or installed improperly.

This has been posted previously with many colorful responses. Check out post #39 which has a video an owner shot of his interior falling apart after 4 trips. It also takes so long to get anything done and it still isn't fixed properly because it is just poor design. The warranty is essentially worthless.
