Wild Ride to Chilliwack n Back
Leaving tomorrow for Chilliwack. (Spell checker thinks this should be Chinchilla!) Weather looks like it could be anywhere from fair to wild n woolly. Hope everyone is OK in that area from the blast on Tuesday.
Looking at the projected temps in Lynden, think we may leave it winterized and just use a flush jug and the KOA Showers while we're up there touring.
I have a feeling people are going to be looking funny at "Seventy Degrees" for awhile till we get back in our area. 76 here today....

Having a hard time reading the screen after just coming in from the bright sunshine outside.
Yeah, the weather here's brutal. The bird bath actually had about 1/16" skim of ice on it this morning. For around here it'd be marginal if the trailer should be used without being winterized. For a local trip I wouldn't bother but down South, who knows.
Hope the pickup goes well.

Thanks, all. Truck is almost packed. Can't leave till schools out so should be ready to go by then. The 10 day forecast up in the Pacific NWet looks like it has improved a bit since yesterday so maybe we'll catch a break.
Warm is essential, Ellen. We'll get to meet you soon!
Thanks Tractors, checking on the propane fill with ETI. Almost forgot...
df, We're sneaking up 93 through NV.
Ron, keep me posted on the bird bath conditions. Could be a deciding factor in de-winterizing while we're up there.
We may see you on the road Dan, if not on Monday in Chilli, we'll be next door at BWestern. Are you staying in the area on Monday? Be safe on the road.
John, we'll be thinking about your 70's at Q. Ellen is coming to Scamp Camp in her new 17 so I'm sure she'll have lots of questions for you.

Jon, when you see Ellen, could you get her Progressive straight? It hasn't worked at all apparently.
I envy you those temps. We have 10-12 lows coming this weekend, however, this is the latest warm weather we have had in many years as it just started freezing.

On schedule so far. Made it to Pendleton, OR last night and the weather has been beautiful, sunny and dry with the exception of I-84 E of Pendleton from last weeks storm. Dreading going back through that stretch with the trailer.
I93 in Eastern NV was a breeze, great conditions easy driving. Had our first experience with a KOA camping cabin in Ely, NV. Was OK if you must, but we would prefer our trailer.
Hope to be visiting some SOI members that live on Guemes Island WA this afternoon and then on to Chilliwack tonight.

Checked the bird bath condition. If those little birds could figure out how to lace up their skates they could play hockey.
Quite mild but there's one cold night forecast in a few days. Conditions in Chilliwack are usually colder. They can get an icy wind blowing across something called Sumas Prairie.
Enjoy your orientation and remember; we want photos.

Update: We had our orientation with Reace this morning at 11 and the trailer looked great. They did some final installation of the Umbra hooks and TV then off to Bob's Burgers and on the hitch. No problems or wait either way at the border.
We setup at the campground in a constant NW rain which made getting everything located for the first time a little rough since it was under the bed and not in my tow bucket yet. Between Reace's recommendations and Ron's bird bath reports we did hook up full utilities and so far everything fired up and is running with no issues.
Early Loves on this trailer. (Most of this comes from the CoPilot)
All the custom: Flooring, Formica, Fabric. Came out great and is exactly what we hoped for. ETI did a great job installing.
New furnace: Looks good and is so quiet when it is running. Love the directional capability on the vent front.
Digital thermostat: Absolutely a must have. One caution, ETI set it up in Celsius (may be a Canadian way to have fun with us) so I had my daughter Googling what 72 Fahrenheit was in Celsius so we could set the temp until I could read the manual and get it set up correctly for Fahrenheit.
Fridge: Got the 6.7 fridge and Co Pilot absolutely loves it. The blue interior light is major cool. We do have about 6 extra plastic parts that we can't figure out yet what they are and the manual didn't seem to help.
UDinette/Lounge: Really came out nice and will make a great lounge area in the years ahead.
Electric Tongue Jack: Love it, Love it, Love it. Especially with the ease it makes out of hooking up the pro hitch.
Kudos, to Reace, Tammy and ETI for producing another great trailer.
Cathy, we do have the LED lights, so now we know. Reace, said they just ran out of the old ones since they were switching over in 2016.
On the hitch at Bob's Burgers in Sumas:

Congrats on the new trailer! Sounds as if everything is wonderful. Hopefully, you will get some good weather. I love the 6.7 also. Big improvement. They did a great job on installation of everything we gave them, too. That really makes it nice.

Sunny and cold in coming days.

Congrats.

The extra refer parts are divider trays for the bottom crisper and the "comb" looking thing goes on the door bottom tray to hold things upright, hope this helps a little.
