You need to look at the latest option list. Not what you think.
Of course, that is 2016. We are not and the list did not read like that.

Exactly. That is what we expect. There was no such choice as they are now showing.
Thank you for your reply.

There are no photos for those two options on the options list. What he posted is from the general photos for a 21'. And the options list on that is different from when we ordered for our 2015.

Yes, that's the way all 21s have been (that I knew of) with the thermal option. But, see post #8. Not interpreting, just pasting what it says. If its the way the options list now reads, that's a change.

And, the options list for windows on the other models (like the 19) haven't changed on the website.

It is a mistake, this list is for the 5.0 TA for those who want the opening windows in the loft vs non opening windows, it does not belong to the 21 option but the 5.0 option. ETI made a mistake on the website, simple.

My 21 was built in Fall 2013. All of its sliding windows are thermal windows, including the one beside the bed. The small window in the bath is single pane and opens.

THAT makes absolute sense! Because these are the options I had to decide on. The reason for not getting an opening thermal window has to do with the size... it's not tall enough...

Yep. A website error. That explains it.

Just heard from Crystal and here was her response:
It appears that some of the info from the 5.0TA page has made it on to the 21' Options list by mistake. Tammy has been advised and this will be corrected.

To clarify, the window on the Driver Side in the bed area of the Escape 21' will be thermal, if that option is selected (Extra Insulation & Thermal Windows), and it will be an opening (slider) window.

Thanks for confirming Carla. Future 21 owners will appreciate it.
