Yep, “parrot head” Terry seems to be the man you want at that branch. It’s too bad it took an hour but I’m glad it worked out for you in the end.

Based on the info in this thread I stopped at the Oshkosh WI DMV. I brought with me the following three items:

Completed MV1-1
"Certificate of Origin for a Trailer" which I received in the mail from ETI.
Copy of the bill of sale, again provided by ETI in the mailed packet.

Less than 10 minutes later (after writing a check for WI sales tax based on the Bill of Sale) I walked out with my title, registration and license plate. I will be picking up a lottery ticket later today.

Thanks to all my fellow Wisconsinites for contributing to this thread. I'm hoping with providing just these three pieces of info we can avoid confusing DMV employees with the additional paperwork ETI provides and make my experience the norms in this state going forward.

You have the good karma for sure. As I mentioned in a previous post this process seems to change frequently. There was a process implemented several years ago that required all foreign imports of RV’s to go through a central office in Madison. There were a number of us who posted how we were required to mail everything in and wait six weeks. It now appears to have returned to the method in place when I registered my first Escape in 2010.

This is good

MikeS - good going! Let's hope maybe that as Paul said it has returned to a somewhat sane process.
