Funny, I just ordered one of these yesterday. I found it cheapest here, and they shipped it within one day:

Springfield Marine | 1660230 | AIR-POWERED 3-STAGE TABLE PEDESTALS (SPRINGFIELD MARINE) | 038132918559

I'm not 100% sure about the 19'. I have a 17' on order which also has a raised dinette. The distance from the floor to the lip where the table goes is about 14" or maybe even 14.5", BUT Escape also installs sliders by default which subtract from that height, so the 12 3/4" is what I got.

If you are going for the 12 3/4 model Overtons have them back ordered to at least May. I ordered back in Feb and they keep changing the date.... it was first supposed to be 3/21. then 4/16 and Now May 10.... I just found it on Amazon and it will come in two days. with free shipping. but I think they go fast.

14"

It is adjustable to 3 heights and there are 2 model. 14 or 12 3/4 for the lowest setting. and it wasn't clear in the forum for 19 so I asked ETI.

When I ordered the Springfield Pedestal for our new 21' I got the 1660230 Model from Helm Chair. If you click the link you can see an image of the specs with table heights in the alternate views. They all have the same high and middle position, but the 1660230 has a low height of 12 3/4" vs 14" for other models.

While at ETI I measured from the floor to the bottom of the table when resting on the benches. The bottom of the table was 14 3/8" from the floor, but the pedestal attached to the ETI slider uses another 1 1/8", for a total space of 13 1/4" so I got the pedestal with a low height of 12 3/4".

Gary, thanks for the info. I ordered the 14in. Wondering if I should switch. Either way, it is not going to be flush then? How did it work for you? Thanks

Gjk, our trailer just entered production, and the pedestal will be installed at orientation, but when I was up at ETI to finalize our build sheet I had the pedestal with me. I put the table top down as if I was making the dinette into a bed and lowered the pedestal all the way down and slid it under with a bit of room to spare.

Since the pedestal locks at any height, and doesn't need to support the table top since that rests on the benches, just put the table top all the way down all the way down and lock the pedestal.

Hopefully others who have the Springfield pedestal won't tell me I'm wrong about that.

springfield table

We ordered from LLEBROC.com for $283 Its the 12 3/4 - 28 in and it fits perfectly on the 21 Escape .I don't know about the ETI 19 .This is one option that everyone should get it makes going from dinette to bed in less then a minute or less .Pulling those poles up is very frustrating . Now my grandson can make up his bed .Now only if I got ETI to install the inverter and a few other options . For all those doing there build sheets Get what you want for an extra few hundred its worth every penny .

does raised dinette change distance to floor

We have a 19 on order and are planning to add a Springfield. Some mention the raised dinette being a factor, but I don't see how it would come into play. My understanding is that the dinette is raised by raising the floor. This would imply that the distance between the floor and the top of the seat would remain unchanged. Can someone confirm that this is the case or correct me if I'm wrong?

Is anyone aware where the "Springfield 3-stage air-powered pedestal" can be ordered in Canada? I've found it on US websites where either it can only be delivered to the 48 states, or we face unknown customs fees shipping across the border. Has anyone ordered it north of the 49th? I can't find it on Amazon.ca.
Thank you.

HLD-Edmonton, I believe you can order it from West Marine in Vancouver. I know that's not where you are, but maybe check with them and see if they can get it to you?

Hello all....Newbie here.

I'm trying to follow along on this thread. If I understand correctly the springfield is better than what comes standard because it is easier/faster to convert the dinette to a bed. Are there any other advantages?
