21NE wardrobe storage bins

The wardrobe in the 21NE is a little bit wider than the wardrobe in the 19, but it has the same size opening - I suppose so that they can use the same door. This creates the problem of getting any purchased storage shelves or bins that utilize the entire width of the wardrobe through the door. (The interior width is ~ 14", but the door opening is ~11".)

I found some stackable plastic bins at the Container Store that are a little over 13" wide that I could fit through the door on their side, and by twisting them hard and fast, I could get everything to flex enough to pop them right side up. They are 10" tall and 18" long, and can slide as well as stack. I pulled the bottom one to the front, stored a 4 pack of toilet paper behind it, and slid the upper bin to the back to gain easier access to the bottom bin.

sherminator--thanks so much for posting this. We're receiving our 21NE 2020 very soon and I am trying to figure out shelving for the wardrobe. I'm trying to find something that will both slide and at least be modular if not be able to vary the height. Do these cubes come in various heights?

We used folding shoe racks from IKEA. They are 11" wide, 24" long, and around 6" high. We unfold them in the closet, and stacked them 4 high.

They come in different sizes - shorter ones are narrower.
