3/8 in from 1/4 in gas line conversion.

I have a single burner cooktop that is 3/8 inch that I use inside and I want to get the following will it work with my 1/4 inch quick disconnect outside hookup?

If your cooktop has a 3/8 male flare on it now, the supplied fitting will fit. This 3/8 male flare is commonly found on griddles and grills that have hard connected hoses/ regulators. The hose will connect to your outside quick connect and provide a more than adequate supply of gas to the cooktop.

WanderBred, tell us the make and model of the single burner cooktop. Then we could better be able to tell you if this hose and fitting will work and whether the burner has a built-in regulator that you'd need to remove.

Martin SG128 Propane Hot Plate Cooking stove - Cooktop 12,800 BTU Powered Brass Burner

I already have it working inside to the supplied gas line that was capped off.

Looks like you're in luck. The web site for your Martin stove and a YouTube video show a 3/8 inch male flare fitting on the back of your burner. That will mate with the adapter that comes with the hose you posted with the 1/4 inch quick-connect fittings.

You don't want to use the regulator that comes packaged with the stove if you're getting your gas from your RV's quick-connect outlet. Propane from quick-connect fittings on Escape trailers have already has its pressure reduced by the regulator at the bulk tank.

Isn't Amazon amazing, they seem to have just about everything you may need and it shows up at your door in days. Of course when the bill comes in, it is a wake up call, you have been shopping way too much......
