6v battery option vs. 12v standard

We have a 15B on order for delivery in January. Can anyone comment on the dual 6v battery option. Is it worth the extra cost? We've never had a camper before so we're newbies to this . . .

Thanks in advance for any replys . . .

Matt

Re: 6v battery option vs. 12v standard

Hi Matt

Yes I think they are worth the extra along with some LED bulbs with
these two options I find we are able to camp for a week or more
without firing up the generator.... unless we need the AC, microwave or blender.

Re: 6v battery option vs. 12v standard

Hi Matt,
I'm not sure anyone on the forum would disagree with Doug. It's an unequivocal YES to the 2 6-volts. Unless you are SURE you (like Alf) don't want to camp anywhere there is no "power bush" : - )

I agree with Doug & Dan.
I give the 6V batteries two thumbs up.

Hi: All... So far we have found "Current Bushes" growing in all States and Provinces!!! We did try one night of Boondocking at Tamarack... in Beckley Virginia. Great Crafts, and even better food. You'll be glad you are allowed to stay o'er nite as you can go back in for breakfast. 2 biscuits, sausage gravy and fried green tomatoes $7. Alf
