The clips are not super tight. They're mainly to keep it in place while I'm using it. You can, of course, spin it 180º to use the front burner if you want to. ;-)

The angle of the photo doesn't show it, but it's not even close to the flame. Have cooked with it for 2 years just fine. ;-)

Happy to host a get-together at our place in Fort Collins for Front Range Escapees to meet, eat and plan. Maybe in mid March?
