Above ward wire basket on 17b

I have a 17B. Really like that wire basket above the wardrobe. Mind sharing where you bought it? Thanks & good luck on sale. Nice looking trailer.

Hi My wife recalls that we bought it at the Ross Dress for Less in Tucson, Arizona. It is an awesome place to put cell phones or a tablet because you can reach the USB ports for charging. Cheers

Can you give me the link for the basket AZjack? Looked on amazon, can't find one that screws in, most attach via an arm that slides over rim of opening of cabinet. Thank you

The picture appears to have just the basket mounted with plastic wire mold screws to the bottom of the o/h.

This may work but you would have to cut the 2 little brackets off https://www.amazon.com/Smart-Design-...YQF8620BNGS5XR

these could be used to attach to the under cabinet with smaller screws, be careful there may be a wire for the light nearby https://www.amazon.com/STEREN-Grip-C...NsaWNrPXRydWU=

Another additional idea. When we added a shelf at that location, we also added a (4)USB outlet, fed from the 12V drop that ETI added in each overhead cabinet.

What about drilling two small holes so the basket could slide over the shelf below the door?

I'd be afraid of overloading that 12v circuit as there are several lights on each.

It was a separate 12V circuit for the drops in each overhead corner of the trailer; it was an extra $ item.
Total wattage if all (4) USB's were at capacity would be =
(4) x (2.1 Amp) x (5 Volt) = 42 Watts
Load on the 12V system = 3.5 Amps
Edit: Typical load of 2 phones and 2 FRS radios charging is a small fraction of that Amperage, and only for a portion of the night.

I missed the separate 12v feed option and was thinking only of the stock set up....sorry.....

What did you use for the posts on that? We'd like to make something similar for our C-Paps. We looked at various things in the hardware store, and saw U-Bolts (like this: https://www.lowes.com/pd/National-Ha...olt/1000422505). But we're not sold on that idea.

Ken, I was tired of backing the other trailers down our drive way. The 17 I pull down the hill and turn around at the bottom. After two years and many miles we still like the 17 and leaving in two weeks for 5 weeks in a cooler climate.

Downsizing for simplicity, something we all do as we age. I can see doing the same.
