Added Pentametric display Screen
I added a pentametric display to my battery monitoring system. The first photo is cutting the hole(ouch). Ran into 1 by framing, had to thin it down for the display to seat correctly.
Second photo: wire run complete. This was a real pain. Pushed a fish stick up the left side of the refrigator(where factory wire harness runs). without a in wall camera it would have never happened. Running to the monitor through the U dinette was simple.
Third photo: Complete install. Now I can just make quick checks without having to fire up the computer.

I have a Tri-Metric battery monitor, so I am curious as well.
As an aside, how do you cut the veneered panel without splintering? Do you tape it first? I tried to cut a small, square hole for a PowerPole socket and made a mess.

Pat & Mike
The pentmetric is battery monitor from Bogart that has the ability to monitor 2 batteries. Has a main shunt and two other shunts that allow it to monitor more sources. I have had the base unit for a few years and connected to it through a computer.
Mike
The wood piece on the wall was taked to the plywood at the correct location and then I used a roto zip bit in my dremel to cut the hole. You get a little fuzz of the vinal covering. A small sanding block cleans it up. If your cutting without a templete than score the cut line with a sharp knife first.

Mike,
I have had good success with these plunge saws, mark the line and just push in, very neat and not ragged edges. Robot Check
