Adding Propane Quick Connect

Has anyone done this? We purchased a used 21 ft 2016 in November and are now seeing the things we would want if we did a build ourselves. Has anyone added a propane quick connect themselves? We have the dual tanks on the tongue. Is there a way to add a Y connector to one/both of the tanks with an long hose for a QC grill and/or firepit?

I learned a lot from Karen Hulbert starting here: http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f3...ng-2847-5.html. If you search "high pressure propane" (and similar variants) you'll get a wealth of information.

I've seen Myron's setup up close and personal at Quartzsite. It is an excellent solution and would be a fairly simple mod to do.

I had Escape leave the low pressure quick connect off, but got the parts from them to add myself. I did not want it done the way they do it, and will likely install it in a small enclosed hatch. That mod is quite a ways down on my list right now though.

Remember this: there are several variations of quick connect male ends so double check because the differences are not obvious. I mean, the quick connect for water or air is not compatible with the quick connect for propane.
